NDE | Don Balón

For the World Cup, we developed “Don Balón,” an animated short film that explores the history of the main tournaments in an entertaining, dynamic, and visually engaging way. The piece uses different settings, eras, and iconic soccer moments to create a journey through the evolution of the competition and its impact on fans. As the narrative’s central thread, we created Don Balón, a character who accompanies the story, connects each stage of the journey, and adds a relatable and memorable personality. The result combines animation, storytelling, and soccer culture to present the history of the World Cup from an accessible and exciting perspective.
